Design Notes

This part was constructed using A3 standard assembly from Pcon-LacI-term (Part:BBa_ K1474008), the lacI promoter (Part:BBa_R0010) and the GFP generator (Part:BBa_E0840).

The sequence of the lacI repressor is from the repressilator of Elowitz and Leibler (2000) [1]. The sequence is modified from the wild-type by using ATG as start codon instead of GTG.

The GFP used has some mutations from wtGFP, for more information see the basic part entry page Part:BBa_E0040:Design.
